It is one of the most aggressive movies ever made, with the most dangerous stunt acrobatics from ever. Miller had big problems with the Australian censorship, so that the whole scenes of violence are cut from the movie.
It is a vision of a violent future world. The people in customized punk style ride vehicles that are leftovers from the world we live in now. But this vision is not supported with developed characters and dialogue, so that it can not be compared with the Mad Max of 1979.
