Review of Mad Max (1979) by Matthew E — 10 Sep 2010
Knowing that this was a cult sci fi hit I wanted to see the mad max series, but what I found was a little disappointing. The first one is slow to open and there is no real action until about an hour and a half in.
This movie also feels like it left un finished business at the end of the flick with two of the main bad guys getting away before the credits roll. This would have made sense if they had been used in the sequel but the best I can tell they weren't.
