Review of Mad Max (1979) by David S — 13 May 2015
Mad Max is a suspenseful movie about the woes of isolation and the prowlers who prey on the innocent. There's the road warrior, Max, greatly acted by Gibson in one of his first roles, and through this, an Australian icon was born.
This film is easily one of Australia's best, spear-headed by George Miller who crafted the scenes well to incorporate story with action. As this film was unconventional, it has stood the test of time, and will always be enjoyed.
