Feels like something that MST3K would make fun of until about 2/3rds of the way through. Not quite enough background info is given, or maybe it's just that I can't always understand them through their accents (I understand there was a US dub of it for this reason).
It also doesn't help that RT's own "movie info" section, which is usually 100% spoiler-free, spoils the whole movie, up to and including the final scene.
