Rent this and "Spellbound" for an excellent documentary double feature. Like Spellbound, this film focuses on competition involving students from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds. Here, the competition is in ballroom dance.
I would have liked it even more if there had been a postscript showing us how the kids we've been following did in their subsequent school years, but, save for that omission, this is a very interesting and affecting film.
