Review of Machine Gun Preacher (2011) by Nandakumar R — 22 Apr 2012
This movie gets to the heart of conversion. It challenges so called believers with action that comes from faith. The fact that he struggles with his faith is even more real. Spoiler alert. On a personal level, I'd say I disagree with the fact he left his family. We are called first to our wife and children. Becides the fact he goes a bit beserk at the end, I'd pick up a gun to defend my life and the life of children from sick power hungry murderers.
I wasn't sure of his stance to Christianity at the end, but I felt challenged and strenghtened in my faith watching this movie.
