Butler gives a great performance in an otherwise inconsistent film.
Watching Butler in the early part of this film where he is a pretty nasty piece of work really grabbed my attention. Where he finds religion and becomes more purposeful, it is interesting to watch but I found myself more intrigued by his younger self. The rest of the cast are fine and where this flick is based on real events, its becomes quite engrossing.
It is a little preachy in places which is understandable but given the complexity of the situation less judgement would have made this something different,......
