After noticing only 33% of the critics gave it a thumbs up, I don't think Sam Childers really cares. I read a review about him and how he doesn't like the limelight. He was impressed with the screenwriter and he felt he did a good job explaining his story.
The movie did its job by making me not knowing anything about Sam Childers to wanting to learn more about him and his cause. If a critic wrote about what it took to make the movie, I'd be more willing to read their review rather than just retelling the movie.
