Review of Machine Gun Preacher (2011) by Caroline J — 11 Feb 2014
Machine Gun Preacher. Sam Childers (butler) is an ex biker/con/rogue who makes attempts to sort his life out to keep his family together. When nothing seems to be working he turns to god. In turn he builds a new church and home for his family.
In the new light of god he takes a changing mission trip to East Africa which is plagued by death and in the middle of a civil war. SAM COMES ACROSS AN ORPHANAGE AND IT IS THEN HE DECIDES TO PLEDGE HIS LIFE AND MONEY TO HELPING THE CHILDREN IN THE DESOLATE SITUATION.
He leads missions to rescue and help children. Its quite a moving film and worth a watch, seeing Butler is a complete different character was a refreshing change.
