Review of Machete Kills (2013) by Alex V — 21 Jun 2014
Robert Rodriguez finally perfects the art of making a bad movie made bad on purpose look as if its badness was unintentional all along. Meanwhile, the lunatic plot populated by lunatic characters makes for a diverting enough sequel. Sadly, however appropriate it is to cast Mel Gibson as a bad guy, nobody will ever top a villainous Steven Seagal for pure novelty value.
