Review of Machete (2010) by Kita K — 03 Dec 2011

I'm watching it, but I'm not sure what to make of it yet. I'll say some big actors owed some producer or director some major favours. Seems also clear that they wanted to make a Quentin Terentino type movie but Quentin said it was abit too grizzly for him ...plus maybe just a bit too silly.

Also, who knows what is really up with Steven Segaul? and why hasnt he learnt to speak properly in all these years? He comes of as extra silly even in the silliest of movies.

So how to rate this movie? hmmm... well if you'd like to see desperado on speed, remade by quentin on speed, then any number of ultra sword play cartoon (on speed) mixed on for fun ....plus a whole bunch of a listers (possible on speed) not doing this for the money, then this is a nice movie for if you are home on a saturday night.

That's also the basis for its rating.

There are still some laughs though ...stuff you clearly shouldnt find funny.
