Danny Trejo is an ex federale who's wife gets killed when trying to bring down a drug lord played by Steven Seagal. He finds odd jobs in the US until someone hires him to try and assassinate a senator against immigrants.
However, it is a setup to make it look like an immigrant tried to kill him. They chase after him and try to get him, fueled by Seagal's need to kill him. There are plenty of laughs as this film doesn't take itself too seriously and everything comes together right.
This could have turned out terrible, but it's a good dumb movie.
