Review of Machete (1958) by Tanvir M — 08 Dec 2011
An interesting combination of creative exercises in gory violence and political stance in favour of humane migration, it targets two mainly disparate groups of audience who may have contrasting taste, thus dividing opinion among the quality of the movie.
That said, any film that cast Stevel Seagal ,Lindsay Lohan and De Niro begs to be viewed for the sheer guilty pleasure of it. A B movie premise executed with an A movie budget and latitude - a fan boy's delight!
