As a fan of the original SNL sketch, I was looking forward to seeing this film. Unfortunately, what happens with most TV turned film endeavors, they relish at the thought of being less restricted in terms of vulgarity.
In this case, they went over the top. The original sketch didn't need crude humor or language in order to be funny, but the film somehow decided that this was the only way to attract an audience. I was not impressed.
