Up until last night, Zoolander was the dumbest movie I had ever seen......this surpassed it by leaps and bounds. Yesterday while shopping, my hubby found this gem in the bargain bin (I can't imagine why!) and said we should watch it that night. He did warn me that I'd probably find it stupid but he thought it was funny. I think I lost a little bit of respect for him about five minutes into it.
Apparently this is based on some SNL skit. I guess I would know if I watched the show but I don't find it funny so I never watch. Anyways, I can only imagine how ludicrous the sketch is now that I've seen the full length feature.
The story is just so beyond stupid, I can't even begin to describe. Basically its a MacGyver rip off, but the thing is, you don't rip off something that was already stupid to begin with. The only thing mildly amusing was the crass language but even then, it had nothing on "Police Academy" LOL. And the awful AWFUL sex scenes weren't even funny, they were gross. They were as disturbing as the sex scenes in "Team America: World Police" Creepy.
The end was cheesy and terrible and I just glared at Ross from across the room and asked why he hated me so much as to put me through this torture. I said I didn't want the dvd in my house so either he burns it in the yard or gives it away to some unsuspecting idiot.
