Review of Mac and Me (1988) by Brian K — 28 Nov 2011

I put this on for my 4 and 8 year old children while I cooked dinner. After the 100th "mommy come watch this", I decided to sit and watch the movie with them. I was surprised that my kids would sit that long, be that interested and watch the whole movie.

I can't lie either, when I thought "Mac's" family was dyeing, I was literally crying (so were both of my kids). It was so much easier for young children to sit through than E.T. , which my children still haven't seen more than 1/2 of because they get bored waiting for something clean and not adult-themed to happen.

Need I remind you of all the underage cursing in that movie?! I know my children feel free to point it out and call E.T. a grown up movie and not a kid movie because of it.
