Review of Mac and Me (1988) by Claudiuanophel — 21 Jan 2014
This war film shows in a natural way the degradation of the human being. Face to face with the impeding, with the imminent death, the soldier(universally accepted) is reduced to his elementary, primary feelings:killing for survival.
Kubrick creates a true fresco of this relationship:man-war, in which the former is surpassed by the latter.
