M3gan is a horror-comedy that for the most part lands. In it, we have our main character, Genna, working as an engineer for a robotic toy company. She designs a doll for her niece that she thinks will be a good companion.
However, the doll becomes malevolent after it gains sentience. The movie is pretty entertaining and there are some laughs and thrills.
