Perhaps the least enticing Cronenberg film I've seen, but it's still skillfully made with much to recommend. I'm less shocked by his falling for a man in disguise than I am his falling for someone who turns every conversation into an analysis of white man's obsession with Asian imperialism.
Not sexy.
