Review of M. Butterfly (1993) by Alexander W — 26 Jul 2012
When so many scenes stick with you for you to mull over weeks later, you know the film did something well. This film is weird, melodramatic, and leaves you dazed and confused at the horrific, unbelievable, yet true story it is based on.
All symptoms of seeing a Cronenberg film. You either love it or regret it. A bit like Jeremy Irons as an actor - you either like him or not.
