Review of M (1931) by Neeraj S — 27 Feb 2009
Like other German Expressionist classics, M has a dystopian thriller plot and stunning designs, but I found the plotting repetitive in the second half and the murderer wasn't accorded much relevance to it.
What impressed me was how free-thinking Germany was, when only a few years later they fell under the spell of a mad dictator and his Nazi cult.
