Review of Lynch (one) (2007) by Tibor B — 08 Oct 2009
Predictably strange, arty documentary following David Lynch, predominantly through the build up to and filming process of Inland Empire. Lynch is never less than entertaining and there are a few welcome glimpses of him at work (surprisingly cranky and insecure at times) but ultimately it is nowhere near as candid as it thinks it is and just further enforces the enigmatic weird fan-cult which surrounds him.
His book "Catching the Big Fish" and the Lynch on Lynch interview book are far more rewarding.
