Review of Lust Stories (2018) by Aman A — 04 Jul 2018
Kashyap- weak plot, enjoyed character portrayal especially the interspersing of monologues with reality. Made me think on how sorted thoughts can be juxtaposed with a chaotic reality.
Zoya - wasn't a plot movie and the character arc was barely developed. Editing/ montage scenes and progress of time was great within a tight space. Didn't care too much.
Dibakar - I loved this one. Manisha was fantastic. Great character arcs, palpable tension, even pace, wonderful use of set, extremely real/true and powerful story.
Karan - didactic to a fault as usual, over explanation as usual, regardless pertinent plot and implemented with humour and panache which makes it all worth it.
