Review of Lust, Caution (2007) by Tara O — 28 Aug 2008

So the whole movie i'm going, "where the hell is the nc-17?" and then it was like, BAM, sex. honestly, it was a far more intimate portrayal of the time period than I expected. one woman's journey through the time period, with understandably conflicted emotions.

after "in the mood for love" I don't want tony to play unsympathetic characters but oh well. the main actress was pretty great too. overall i'd say it dragged too much, but I was down for most of it.
