Review of Lust, Caution (2007) by David B — 07 Nov 2008
It's difficult to know where to start with this film. I wanted to like it, as it's one of the few films to come out of China without kungfu or emperors in it! Sadly though, I felt as though I'd seen this film several times before (most comparibly in WWII French resistance films), although the acting, direction and casting are spot on. It's just waaaay too long.
Having said that, there is a naked Asian chick in it, that'll keep many guys happy I suppose ;p.
