Review of Lucy (2014) by Kyle B — 28 Jan 2016
The only surprise was in the beginning. I didn't know how Lucy came to acquire her extra-cerebral gifts. I kinda felt like I was watching a bad revision of The Matrix at times. The acting was okay, if you like to see Scarlett Johansson stare like she's Yoda lifting Luke's X-Wing out of the swamps of Dagobah.
Morgan Freeman was forgettable. I couldn't suspend my disbelief long enough to think, "Hey...this could happen".
