Review of Lucy (2014) by Halldor G — 14 Apr 2016
Dumb fun for a good chunk of its running time, with a tolerable amount of pseudoscientific nonsense that can be handwaved away as a fantastical premise. And then after a certain point, probably somewhere around the car chase, the nonsensical babbling about brain capacity and time or something becomes the whole movie, and nothing really happens apart from a cheesy gun fight.
Besson answers the question "OK cool setup, but now what?" with a blank stare. Scarlett's good though.
