Initially very excited by the cast and potential of this storyline. The pacing quickly felt off, looping between fast action and slow filler material. Towards the end it goes astray and takes a downhill turn, becoming ridiculous and incomprehensible.
Scarlett Johansson acts well but I'd have liked to have seen more of Choi Min-sik, who is phenomenal in Oldboy and I Saw the Devil. Lucy leaves a lot of unanswered questions but I truthfully felt uninterested in finding deeper meaning by the end credits.
