Review of Lucky You (2007) by Nate S — 30 Mar 2008
I'm a rather big fan of poker films. I happen to hold Rounders and Maverick pretty high. However, there was something about those films that made them work. Besides the stories being overall better...it was the scenes in which they played poker where they out shined this film. There was a far greater level of fun and tension in those other films...that's really lacking in this one.
Overall, this film isn't terrible, but it fails to offer enough entertainment.
