Banking on the public popularity of poker is this Curtis Hanson pic on what happens when a gambler can't be as precise in his personal life as his professional. Pity. Could be more realistic with what's happening in poker rooms these days.
..I mean, only one Asian gambler in the final table? Come on. Story has been done before, but I did get slightly more satisfaction watching the poker scenes in this film compared to WSOP '07 highlights on ESPN.
Eh. It's worth a slot in your Netflix top 20.
