Critics got it totally wrong. This was a very good film for a thriller, crime drama. Hartnett is a bit stiff but the rest of the cast is top notch and well acted. Whether or not you figured it out by the end is immaterial to a very nice ride.
I think critics hate a movie that they THINK they figured out when they get it wrong.
