This movie could have been about me, when I get some older. harry dean stanton continues the character arc he started in cool hand luke, wise blood and uforia, almost to its conclusion. every line in this movie was believable from every character.
his singing has deteriorated but that might have been deliberate, too. this is a great movie. I will see it again, probably not in a theater, as it disappeared as soon as I left the theater.
