Review of Lucha Mexico (2016) by Carlos D — 19 Jul 2016
Lucha Mexico is a very colorful film with many stunning visuals of Mexico's wonderful landscape and culture, unfortunately the film has very little substance. Aside from one or two wrestlers, majority of the wrestlers don't get very much screen time and don't have much story, the filmmakers go from wrestler to wrestler who give a brief commentary and then are never seen on screen again.
Not a bad film, I just wished I had leaned more about the luchadors and they're lives outside the ring.
