Review of Luca (2021) by Mauro_Lanari — 23 Jun 2021
(Mauro Lanari).
Did the debutant Casarosa direct a sort of autobiopic about his own memories of youth in Liguria, forcing Pixar a return to simplicity and to children as its primary target audience? In that case it might have been easier to re-listen to Lùnapop's "50 Special" (1999).
Alternative: has Pixar produced its periodic educational and didascalic work in favor of the differents (LGBTQ+ or specifically perhaps migrants and massacres in the Mediterranean)? But the allegory is "submerged and drowned" by the exorbitant number of animated films and not made with fish as protagonists.
