Review of Luca (2021) by Bertobellamy — 19 Jun 2021
Loved the animation style here; it truly reminded me of Hayao Miyazaki and Ghibli films. Although Pixar's risky move is welcome, centering the plot around the race was kind of underwhelming. The film feels very childish after watching 'Soul,' but it's nice to see that the studio is taking another step into inclusion.
