Review of Loving (2016) by Calvin C — 20 Nov 2016
The true story of interracial couple Richard and Mildred Loving who marry in 1958 Virginia but are kicked out of the state. They fight for their right to return and continue being married. While I saw this story in a documentary, the movie goes for a quieter way of showing the events. This makes the movie a little slow and uneventful, despite the case being very eventful and influential. It's an important story. I wished the movie did a little more to show it.
