Review of Loving (2016) by Ryan M — 14 Apr 2017
Edgerton and Negga are excellent. The film itself is acquired viewing, as it is intentionally devoid of any of the showy cinema most movies of its ilk peddle in. It's slow, subtle and purposefully simple, with just enough moments of profound beauty (and anger-inducement) to make its point and make it worth the watch.
