Review of Loving (2016) by Mike M — 08 May 2017
Beautifully told story of an unassuming interracial couple from Virginia who simply wanted to live their lives and raise a family out in the country not bothering anyone else, but the archaic and outdated leftover slavery laws in the south back in 1958 would not have it.
It's a slow and deliberate film well worth watching indicative of the painful 8yr process it took for Loving vs Virginia to grind through the courts culminating in a landmark Supreme Court decision.
