Review of Loving (2016) by Steph R — 14 Jul 2017
The subject matter is something that I generally gravitate toward, but I unfortunately didn't quite make it to the end before just turning it off. I like a good slow-burn, subtle story, but this was more along the boring lines.
My biggest issue was that I could not see the kind of love evidenced in these two that would make such sacrifices and bravery seem worth it. Thankful the story actually happened! Wish the retelling had been a little more interesting.
