Review of Love's Enduring Promise (2004) by Monsieur R — 15 Jun 2010
The third installment of 5 movies for tv, this HallMark Entertainment presentation is very typically well done and while not anywhere near an action thriller, it slowly evolves as a piece of work.
While the acting is anything but smooth, the primary actors come together in the wilds of somewhere, supposedly in the midwest usa.
Full of substance and no bad language, this film will not impress action adventure types. It doesn't go there, but rather is a very real depiction of hard life in the prarie states.
A film by Michael Landon's (Bonanza's Little Joe) son, this is a drama worth watching, much in the same genre as Little House on the Prarie. Slow and methodical for some, it is still worth watching.
