Review of Lovers of the Arctic Circle (1998) by Cara A — 11 Apr 2009
I've never reviewed a film before, but this one really touched me. It was an assignment for my romantic paradox class and I am excited to discuss it on Tuesday.
The notion of circular lives, and living in multiple circles is so strange to me. It's comforting to think that we wont ever run out of something, and scary to consider our lives starting and ending, starting and ending, while we watch it all happen without much control.
How do you know when a cycle starts and ends? Does one cycle flow smoothly into the next?
I would watch this movie again in a heartbeat.
