Review of Lover (1992) by Rick S — 29 Aug 2008
Tony Leung was mesmerizing, and the film was visually seductive; but I found the pacing very slow and, more critically, did not feel chemistry between the two actors. Two other thoughts: the actor portraying the older brother was also very good; and, I found it remarkable how Jane March looked innocent/young one scene and then devilish/mature the next-- a good casting choice for her appearance, except I didnt like her acting.
