Review of Lovely Molly (2011) by Dan H — 06 Jan 2013
When the DVD extras are 100 times more interesting than the movie itself there is a serious problem. The extras consist of four 7-minute pseudo-documentaries about the "case of Molly Reynolds" and the history of the house she lived and went crazy in and, in the weakest segment, the supernatural encounters while "making the film.
" After landing on the map with THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT (which I did not care for) writer/director Eduardo Sanchez seemed to be showing great improvement with ALTERED and SEVENTH MOON as a horror film maker.
With LOVELY MOLLY its like he's taken two or three steps back.
