Finally, Catherine Keener is actually likable in this film because I usually hate the characters she plays in her other films but the rest of the characters, I couldn't really care less for. I really can't sympathize with a good-looking woman who still has insecurities about her body and needs reassurance from a shallow actor, an old woman who decides to reduce the fats in her body and gets seriously ill after the operation, and the adopted black girl who doesn't like the color of her skin and plays dead in the pool.
