Amanda Seyfried is very strong as Linda Lovelace, but it is the supporting cast that give this good, if unremarkable, biopic its energy. Peter Sarsgaard is always reliable especially when it comes to playing not very likable characters.
Sharon Stone is almost unrecognizable and a stand out as Linda's mother. Great performances from the cast and a cool 70s look make this conventional and grim biopic worth a shot.
