While Amanda Seyfried's performance as the eponymous iconic actress from the most famous porno film is commendably bold and captivating, this glossy biopic would probably seem almost to be a made-for-TV movie but for a brief, technically experimental passage at the beginning which toys with the viewers' expectations before backtracking in time to reveal the full story behind the seemingly uninhibited and sexually liberated title character.
