Review of Lovelace (2013) by Jake N — 23 Dec 2013
About what I should've expected from a Linda Lovelace biopic. Overlong and messy. It felt much longer than it was, and some of the editing and the flashing forward and backward didn't make any sense.
Amanda Seyfried pulled off a semi-believable Lovelace (Lindsay Lohan was originally cast in the role). But some of the other casting choices were way off, including James Franco as a young Hugh Hefner and Sharon Stone overacting as Linda's mother.
I don't know why I watched this.
