Review of Love Wrecked (2005) by Tom G — 23 Jul 2008
This is yet another movie I saw just because Amanda Bynes was in it. I admire her comedic prowess and seriously expect her to be the next Lucille Ball (if she isn't that already). The movie was cliched and predictable, but Bynes somehow sold it to me.
She made me care about her character, when with most actresses, I would have hated my main character. The movie did drag a bit at points, and I seriously wish it had been about 20 minutes shorter, maybe cutting from that painful subplot about the entourage's plight that was a thinly veiled way of giving Lance Bass and Kathy Griffin more screen time.
Admirable and enjoyable, but nothing groundbreaking or amazing.
