Review of Love Wrecked (2005) by Amanda R — 21 May 2007
Amanda Bynes did this movie before She's The Man and it was proof of what was to come, Amanda has fun in this film and she is probably the best comedian of her generation.
In the movie she plays a girl who has somewhat of a major crush on a rock star, it's not long before she finds herself marooned on a island with the rock star only it seems she's not as marooned as it seems and she must try to convince the rock star that they are actually marooned and ofcause nothing goes according to plan.
Apart from Amanda Bynes the film is pretty average, the script is ok but some of the scenes involving her best friend are pretty pointless.
Bynes ofcause is very funny and Joey Kern also put's in a good turn as the rock star's pr.
Oh and Fresh Prince Of Bel Air fans should look out for Alfonso Ribeiro playing the resort manager.
