Review of Love with the Proper Stranger (1963) by John D — 04 May 2011
Yawn. Schmaltzy love story tries to add some realism to the formula but stills comes across as stilted and far-fetched. The two leads aren't bad, though it's hard to care about any of the characters.
The scenes played for laughs, especially those involving the stock ethnic family situations, are the most painful.
